Update values for one or more fields on an asset by asset ID. Use this endpoint to change asset-type field values without updating other asset details.

To update core asset details (such as identifier, site assignment, or asset type), use Update an asset instead.

If your organization uses site-based access for assets, the API only updates assets that the API token’s user can access through their site membership.
